A song written a while ago and not played out much in the last few years. Reckon it may find its way back into my busking repertoire. Found this demo recording tucked away in my Garage Band files.

Collect Ourselves (Before We Collect Others)
Collect ourselves, before we collect others
How else will we know our brightest colours
Collect ourselves, before we collect others
Look inside you'll see your mothers, your sisters
your fathers, your brothers
Chorus:
We are one, We are whole
All connected not a rootless system
We are one, We are whole
All connected not a rootless system
V2:
Collect ourselves, before we collect others
Truth guides life forward
Like two cherished lovers
Collect ourselves, before we collect others
Bow to the heart and no one suffers
Chorus:
We are one, We are whole
All connected not a rootless system
We are one, We are whole
All connected not a rootless system
